Dune House, Tisvilde

A single-storey house of blackened pine, arranged as two shifted volumes that shelter a south-facing deck from the coastal wind. The roofline stays below the dune ridge, so the building reads as landscape before it reads as architecture.

Inside, birch ply and plastered walls keep the palette quiet. A wood-burning stove anchors the living room; sliding glazing opens the full length of the west elevation toward the sea.
